How to Measure

Take advantage of our grab bag (stock sizes) deal to save big! Any WHITE MESH harness from 20" to 24" chest is $35! Tell us your dog's chest & neck measurements and if the harness is for a boy or girl. Let us choose from our available already-made harnesses. No waiting the usual 2-3 week production time! NOTE: We will let you know if your dog's measurements require a custom-fit harness. Not all dogs can wear a stock size.

The Hug-A-Dog Harness® is a form-fitting walking harness that is easy on the dog and the owner. Made of durable, cool, poly-knit mesh as the body of the harness. Easy to put on with hook & loop closures (like Velcro®). No straps. No rubbing or choking. Transfers pulling pressure to chest area. Machine washable and dryable.

The Hug-A-Dog Harness® is the original vest-style harness. If the label doesn't say Hug-A-Dog, it's just a copycat!

No more leg sores

I just wanted to tell you how awesome you all are! Oscar loves his new harness, in in New Orleans, la. So he will be super happy to get the mesh only. This is a very big deal as he had sores behind his legs for bad harness, you saved him from that TANK YOU

Dachshund Lover

I have owned Dachshunds for the past 22 years. 5 have passed. At present I have a 10yr old and a year old Wirehair. Have owned smooth and long hairs. The suits are the best I have found for these lil critters, especially the Handle,holds them secure in car,I have ordered five suits over the years and shall continue when needed. My doxies LOVE your harnesses~~~~~~~

This is probably around the 10th harness I ordered from your wonderful group of people @ Dachshund Delights. I have been "owned" by 3 different size doxies and it is great the way I can individualize each dog's measurements so they get the perfect fit! Before I had your harnesses, my babies would balk when I used the neck harness to walk them. Now they walk with me just fine. I especially like your policy of replacing the Velcro when it gets full of stuff. Now they last forever.....

LOVE IT

I PURCHASED MY FIRST HARNESS WHICH I STILL HAVE FOR MY FIRST DACHSHUND IN 2004 I WOULD NOT PUT ANY OTHER HARNESS ON MY DACHSHUNDS. I EVEN SEND MY ADULT FOSTER DOGS HOME WITH A HARNESS SO I KNOW THEY ARE SAFE WHEN BEING WALKED BY THERE NEW OWNERS.. A CHEAPER HARNESS IS NOT WORTH THE CHANCE OF LOSSING YOUR BABY. LOVE THIS PRODUCT

wonderful, just what we need for our active boy

We have a Male Dachshund who is just over 2 years old, he loves to run and uump which is so bad for his back. We purchased the Hug a Dog Harness and we love it! It is so well made, and helps to control him without straining his back and neck. He likes his harnesses, we have this mess one for when it is hot, or when we are going somewhere like the beach...that might otherwise trap sand and water, which would be abrasive to him. We also have a Hold A Dog Harness, which we liek to use as we run the seatbelt through the loop and it keeps him safe and sound, and he can't get into things or explore while we are in the car. It also is helpful to hold onto him should another dog come around and they get too excited. We have purchased these harnesses for our last Dachshund, sho has since passed away, They are so well made! Since hers would not fit our boy, we passed them onto another liittle sweetheart, we even sent a couple back on the trade in program. They hold up very well and wash well too. Quite the fashion statement! We get many comments on these harnesses.

Proud Doxie owner & rescuer

The Hug A Dog Harness in white mesh is something I often order for my rescue or personal doxies. I love it for the fit and comfort it gives each dog. Washable is high on my priority list. This harness and all the other that precede it have been just what the doxie ordered!

Minor Design Flaw

My only complaint is that the D-rings always seem to turn 90 degrees so that one pointy end of the D is going through the nylon part of the harness, which makes the nylon wear out faster.
