The Hug-A-Dog Harness® is a form-fitting walking harness that is easy on the dog and the owner. Made of durable, cool, poly-knit mesh as the body of the harness. Easy to put on with hook & loop closures (like Velcro®). No straps. No rubbing or choking. Transfers pulling pressure to chest area. Machine washable and dryable.
The Hug-A-Dog Harness® is the original vest-style harness. If the label doesn't say Hug-A-Dog, it's just a copycat!

IL rep MWDR
I have been buying your products for about 15 years. They are durable and easy to use. I am a volunteer for a dachshund rescue and recommend them to people who have dogs that are difficult to fit and for dogs who don't like having harness put on. Once I fit the dog's neck closure, I leave it secured, then slip it over the dog's head and secure the bottom and we are ready to go. I also purchased coats from them that I am very happy with. While they are pricey, they hold up better and fit better than other harnesses, because each is made for your dog. Last, their customer service is the best. I have not had many problems but the ones I had were quickly resolved to my satisfaction.

Great for my dog
When we received our rescue doxie, he had on a Hug A Harness and I was so pleased with how easy it is to get on and off. My other doxie is shaped funny, LOL! So, I was having trouble finding harnesses to fit her that were easy to get on and off because when she sees the harness and leash she runs to the door and howls and cries like she's dying before I can her leased and out the door. Once I got the neck adjusted to where I could slip it on and off easily it just a quick slip over the head and then fasten at her belly. It is made very well and I appreciate the additional gift of the bandana.

Great Harness/Great Value
This is our second Hug a Dog Harness. Our first was a custom-made to order harness, which is still in use, but showing some wear and needs replaced. I wanted to get a new harness, but a new custom harness was not in the budget right now. This ready made mesh harness fit the bill perfectly! It fits our dog just fine and we have had lots of compliments on how nice it looks on her! I love that I can send in the old harness for a credit toward a new harness and will be doing that in a few months since we are getting a new Doxie puppy today and will need a harness for her when she has grown up a bit.

Very happy customer
We love this harness very much,our dachshunds walk so much better in the harness than a collar, now I don’t have to worry that they will hurt their heck’s pulling on the leash,and we have better control when walking them

Don't hesitate!
I've purchased 7 of these. They are perfect for every breed. My most recent 3 have been for a Boston Terrier, Chihuahua, and Maltese. I've not used a regular collar on my dogs in 15 years. You won't be disappointed.

The BEST harnesses
These are by far the best harnesses on the market today. Don't bother getting a harness from a store. These are easy to put on and take off and are very strong and durable. My dogs love them too.

Great product.
I ordered this for our Chi/yorkie mix. Her previous harness wasn't working because she could get both her front legs out of it. This one is perfect and really easy to put on and take off. Glad I found this web site. I ordered from the overstock and it fits perfectly.

Doxie Lover
I have 2 doxies. I bought these mesh harnesses 5 years ago. They wash wonderfully. Since you were having such a great sale, I thought I would purchase 2 more. I keep 2 at our home in Florida and the other 2 at our summer place in RI. I get lots of compliments on them. I am very please with all your doxie products!!

Have used at least 20 years
I have used these harnesses at least 20 years. I like using a harness instead of a collar because the dog can not pull out of them and it is better for their necks. They last a long time and easily cleaned. I ordered from the grab bag for my two girls and I got a pink one and a hot pink one.

Only Dachshund Delights Makes Dachshund Apparel That Fits
I have rescued Dachshunds for 11 years now, and the only place I find clothes and harnesses that truly fit, and are comfortable for my dogs are with Dachshund Delights. Every time I think an outfit from a pet store will fit my dogs, I am disappointed. I always have to alter them. Not true with Dachshund Delights. Not only do they fit perfectly, but they are of great quality which lasts years. That says a lot when an animal is wearing your product! After years of wear, I've had to clean off the velcro fastener, but that was it. The rest of the Hug-A-Dog Harness needed no help from me. And, they hug securely. My first harness was the one to use in the car with the seat belt. I totally trust this product, and tell every Dachshund owner looking for this breed's apparel to check out Dachshund Delights. They know what they are doing!

The perfect harness
These harnesses are perfect for my two dachshunds. They fit perfectly since they are custom made to measurements you provide and are the only harnesses I've found that really work for the dachshund body. They are beautifully made and last for years. I highly recommend!

Great Harness used them for 17 years
I started using these harnesses 17 years ago on my Italian Greyhound, Massimo he loved it. These are great for this type of breed with the short coat other harnesses rub under there arms. I have one for my Whippet Watson and I just purchased another for my puppy Italian Greyhound Niko. I tell every dog owner about these harnesses they are super.

Simply the best
I actually own 6 of these harnesses! (We own 3 dachshunds) That is how much I love them. They are so secure. I have tried other harnesses but none work like hug a dog. The last three we bought were made of just the mesh and they are great for our hot Florida weather.

Great harness!
This is the first time I've used harnesses with dogs (for that matter, this is also the first time I've had doxies!). I got a grab-bag harness for each, since I wasn't sure how they would react to them. One dog tolerates being dressed; the other one runs away and looks utterly pitiful being harnessed. But once put together, they both enjoy the walks and the harnesses do a great job of keeping them safe and enthusiastic! So no complaints whatsoever!

Awesome Harness!
This is by far the best harness ever! It fits perfectly and is very secure for my headstrong little weenie boy. The mesh fabric is great in Texas where the temperatures are always warm to super hot. A great deal of workmanship goes into the harness, making it worth every penny.
