How to Measure

Take advantage of our grab bag (stock sizes) deal to save big! Any FABRIC harness from 20" to 24" chest is $38! Tell us your dog's chest & neck measurements and if the harness is for a boy or girl. Let us choose from our available already-made harnesses. No waiting the usual 2-3 week production time! NOTE: We will let you know if your dog's measurements require a custom-fit harness. Not all dogs can wear a stock size.

The Hug-A-Dog Harness® is a form-fitting walking harness that is easy on the dog and the owner. Made of durable, cool, poly-knit mesh as the body of the harness. Easy to put on with hook & loop closures (like Velcro®). No straps. No rubbing or choking. Transfers pulling pressure to chest area. Machine washable and dryable.

The Hug-A-Dog Harness® is the original vest-style harness. If the label doesn't say Hug-A-Dog, it's just a copycat!

Based on the rave reviews of a fellow corgi-owning friend, I purchased this for our new Cardigan puppy, (cardis have some doxie in their woodpile, I'm told) and am happy to say that it's a hit! LOVE IT!!

This is my fifth Hug-A-Dog harness and I just love this product. I've had custom ones in the past and this is my first grab bag harness. The fabric was beautiful and the harness fit perfect. I've used them on multiple breeds including dachshunds. I will continue buying Hug-A-Dog harnesses for all of my furkids in the future.

Simply Can't Be Beat!

I have used Hug-a-Dog harnesses with my dachshunds for years (I have a doxie right now who sports one) but never thought about getting one for my dachshund/basset hound mix. While we were wintering in Florida, Raymond lost so much weight from our daily walks, that he was backing out of his harness. I went online and found that I could in fact get a Hug-a-Dog large enough for my 35 pound guy, so I ordered a grab bag special immediately. Fits him like a glove, is comfortable, and the bonus is, the design is (red hot) chili peppers. That's right, my dog is a rock star! The Hug-a-Dog harness is by far the best on the market for durability, fit, and comfort.

Hug-A-Dog Harness in Fabric - Grab Bag Special

This my second harness I have purchased - the first was the Mesh style. I love both of them and use the mesh in spring/summer & the fabric in fall/winter. I gets lots of compliments on them and am often asked where I got it from. I sign the praises of Dachshund Delights to anyone that ask.
